It’s a Volvo V40 MK2 2014 with semi-smart key.
Add key with Autel IM608 fully via OBD, fast and easy.
Many beginners start the procedure by removing the CEM, which is not necessarily in this case.

Excepton: Volvo V40 can be done directly via OBD (add key and AKL)
using Autel and other programmers (5 min)
Prepare dealer key: No
Remote: Automatic
If it’s keyless then obd won’t work. Only slot key.
V40 only can read fast, but others v70 or xc70 take 3-4 hours via obd or pull out the cem.
