How to program Audi A3 2012 VDO Micronas 24C32 all keys lost? Here comes the user review:
Audi A3 2012 all keys lost with VDO Micronas CDC3217/3297+24C32 cluster and a SIMOS 10.13A ECM.
Autel literally couldn’t do anything with this combination of cluster + ECM.
– Couldn’t read either EEPROM or IMMO data over OBD (failed to go into programming mode).
– Couldn’t do AKL over OBD as failed to read engine type/info/ECM.
– Couldn’t read the SIMOS 10.13A ECM manually with GBox as I’m assuming it isn’t supported (tried reading as SIMOS 9.X but obviously failed).
– No option to read the cluster on bench, read via dump, or write key via dump.
– As far as I know because of the type of cluster you can’t hook it up to bench harness and pogo pin it.
– The specific 24C32 EEPROM chip wouldn’t read in XP400 manually (read no issues with key tool plus).
Xhorse key tool plus couldn’t read anything either to be fair. I ended up having to write service mode to EEPROM with Key tool plus and then finally got the IMMO data then made dealer key/programmed with Autel IM608.
Neither tool could complete the job, but combining them I was able to complete, the plus pad could do the first half, the autel could do the second half.
Xhorse key tool plus could get the data, but once I reset the cluster it couldn’t add keys even with pin.
Autel couldn’t read data, but once I reset the cluster I could generate dealer keys and add keys with CS/pin.
