You can clone the remote but remote won’t work, only start stop nothing else. It works if you don’t mind not having a remote.
You don’t need key tool max.
No need to read eeprom you can make dealer key OBD2 using VVDI2 or VVDI BMW. 5 min job vvdi2 via OBD.
