How-to: program 2023 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross with remote head key with Autel IM608. Notes: —In US, car still has onboard programming. Two keys required. Procedure is in the owner’s manual, and is identical to the Chrysler procedure. —Key looks the exact same on the outside as last year. (Car hasn’t changed either.) —Car will NOT accept a 2018-2022 key. I tried twice. (I was using the TIK-MIT-56 from Transponder Island.) —2023 key is Hitag3 according to VVDI mini key tool. My personal recommendation is keep seat belt unbuckled. The chimes help to get your timing right. 1: Key 1 to Run position 6 seconds until seat belt chime stops. Turn off and remove. 2: Key 2 to Run position. Wait for seat belt chime to stop. Wait about 5 more seconds, padlock symbol shows in instrument cluster. Turn off and remove. 3: New key to Run. Padlock symbol flashes. After a few seconds, one chime, padlock symbol comes on steady for a second and then goes out. Turn off and remove. 4: Test. This procedure should work for most US Mitsubishi since the mid 2000s
