    2023 GMC Acadia Proximity All Key Lost Key Stop Working?

    Problem:

    2023 GMC Acadia proximity programmed as expected (all keys lost) using an Autel Universal key but 10 minutes later stopped working even with the Prox in the programming slot.
    Next I did all keys lost again and added same key and also an Xhorse XM38. Car then worked fine with either key.

    What is the problem?

    Solution:

    All GM vehicles after 2017 require 2 upon Immo reset. Keyed or PTS.

    New Global B and Global E platforms require 2 keys minimum…if you will not provide a second key upon registration the first one will be voided.. happened to me on a new Corvette c8.
