Problem:
Ford Fiesta 2009, all keys lost, security access fail when I’m trying to add keys. Both Xhorse and OTOFIX IM2 (same as Autel IM608) failed. I tried to wait 10, 20, 30 min for system to get out of PATS,. unplugged battery for a few hours, but no success. There is no alarm sound or indicators flashing, not sure why.I successfully added remote function by cycling barel to ON/OFF position but can’t program transponder. Door handle and lock was removed by owner to get access. Internet strong and voltage above 14v.
UPDATE:
FORScan with a license did the job in 5 minutes. Keys added, no issues. Neither Autel nor Xhorse could unlock security access.
The transponder was correct (original), and changing the ID from 80 to 40 didn’t work either. Disconnecting the battery for hours, waiting with doors open for 10–20 minutes, holding down the driver’s door locks, etc.… None of it helped.
Only FORScan with a license managed to handle the task. For the connection, I used a V1 Flash with Otofix and Maxi PC Suite installed on a laptop.
