Remove key shell, check the interior of the key shell and observe this part:
if there are only three lines of symbols, it indicates a 5C key;
if there are four lines of symbols, it indicates an encrypted 5D key.
For 5D keys, users must use original key to add a spare key. If it is 5D with UWB function, you will need an original high-version key.
Note: The tips only apply to Audi 5C/5D vehicles. It may not work on VW 5C/5D vehicles.
