Problem:
I’ve forgotten my Autel MaxiIM IM608/IM508 lock screen pattern/Security PIN. Why a subscription update won’t save. How I reset my Autel?
The unlock method depends on your last update date.
Scenario 1 – Tool not updated since before 2025:
- Contact Autel to evaluate your case.
- Send to Autel: Send your IM608 to Autel for evaluation and processing.
- Autel flashes tool back to nomal: the tool is flashed and restored to normal state.
*Remote unlock is no longer available for older firmware.The tool must be evaluated and flashed by Autel.
Scenario 2 – Tool updated in 2025 or later:
- Contact Autel to verify your case.
- Receive unlock instructions: Instructions can be provided via a booked consultation to unlock the screen.
- Access restored: Follow the steps to unlock your IM608/IM508 and regain access.
*Unlock instructions depend on the tool and software version.
