Problem:
Tried to read VW MQB48 cluster data for all keys lost using OBDSTAR X300 Classic G3 and C4-06 adapter. After setting up the connection as in the diagram, it says MP001 connection failed. Any solution?
Solution:
Reset MP001.
Solved. Reset device.
NOTE:
Some users said you must connect the 12V charger directly to the MP001, not the OBD2 cable. This is not correct.
OBDSTAR engineer confirmed you can connect a 12V charger to either MP001 or OBD2 cable. Both work fine.
