Program Fiat Ducato 2008 ID46 Key with Lonsdor K518S

How to use Lonsdor K518S/K518ISE to program Fiat Ducato 2008 ID46 Key successfully.

This is original working Fiat Ducato 2008 ID46 key.

Use the original key to turn on the ignition.

Plug the Lonsdor K518S key programmer into Fiat car, tap “Immobilizieir -> Fiat -> Europe-> Ducato -> 2006-> 2012 (250) -> Backup EEPROM”.

Please switch ignition ON.

Please switch ignition switch off.

Reading EEPROM data.

Please enter the name of the file to be saved.

Please make sure the input is correct! Ducato_2008_ID46.bin.

Backup success.

If oil gauge’s indicator flashes, please cut off power supply or power off BCM for a few secs.

Back to the menu to select “Make dealer key (46 & 48 chip).

Please select “46 chip key”, and put the new blank new into the slot of Lonsdor K518S.

Select “PCF7946 (8PIN).

Select the file.

Push the device key slot (to the right). Place the key to be programmed into key slot.

Writing key data.

Generate the dealer key and lock the key success.

ID: B175412B.

Tap ” Program key”.

Note: the working keys also need to be programmed, otherwise they will turn invalid.

The new key (to be programmed) must be dealer key or customized key.

Please switch ignition ON.

Please input the pin.

Program key successfully, take off the original key from the ignition and insert the new programmed key to turn on the ignition.

And test if the remote works.
